Welcome to QFX® Speaker, Wireless Speaker, Bluetooth Speakers! We are thrilled you’ve discovered our passion for innovative, high-quality audio products. Our journey began over 15 years ago with a vision to make great sound accessible for everyone.
Headquartered in City of Industry, California, our team of audiophiles is constantly pushing the boundaries of acoustic engineering and industrial design. We believe that just because a speaker is affordable doesn’t mean it has to sound cheap. By combining thoughtful engineering with premium components, we aim to deliver an unmatched listening experience at every price point.
Our History

It all started in 2005 when our founder, John Smith, was frustrated with the lack of decent-sounding Bluetooth speakers on the market. As an electrical engineer and music lover, John knew it was possible to create rich, full-range sound from a compact wireless speaker. He began tinkering in his garage workshop, prototyping different enclosure and driver designs.
After months of experimentation, John completed his first working model – a portable Bluetooth speaker that delivered room-filling sound with crisp highs, full mids, and surprisingly deep bass. Excited by his creation, he shared it with audio engineer friends who were equally impressed. They encouraged John to start a company and bring this speaker to market.
In 2007, QFX® was officially launched with John’s original cube-shaped design that would become our hallmark. We debuted at CES in Las Vegas and sparked immediate interest from retailers and consumers alike. Our early adopters loved the convenience of wire-free streaming in a powerful, desktop-sized enclosure.
Growth & Innovation
Since those early days, we have expanded into a full line of wireless and Bluetooth speakers with over 100 audio products spanning personal, home, and professional use cases. Some key milestones include:
- 2010 – Launched our first waterproof, shockproof models for outdoor and adventure use.
- 2012 – Unveiled high-power party speakers with lighting effects, taking the party speaker category mainstream.
- 2015 – Introduced WiSA compatibility for lossless multi-room streaming.
- 2017 – Debuted built-in voice assistance with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant integration.
- 2019 – Launched our Professional Series – premium reference monitors for studios and content creators.
- 2021 – Unveiled our patented long-excursion drivers and proprietary EQ technology for enhanced clarity and bass.
We now sell millions of speakers annually across the United States and over 40 countries worldwide. Our extensive catalog covers everything from pocket-sized personal speakers to giant tower PA systems.
Design & Engineering
Every QFX® speaker starts with our philosophy of “Form Follows Function.” We first engineer for optimal acoustic performance, then sculpt the exterior for both aesthetics and usability.
Our in-house engineering team leverages cutting-edge simulation software to virtually prototype dozens of enclosure variations and driver alignments. We analyze how cabinet shapes, port tuning, and component layouts impact the sound. No detail is overlooked in the pursuit of stunning audio fidelity.
Once the acoustic platform is defined, our industrial designers begin envisioning the visual form. Hundreds of foam models and CAD sketches get narrowed down to a final blueprint balancing sound, functionality, and style. Our goal is speakers that look as good as they sound.
From prototyping to testing, all product development happens directly at our California headquarters. Our on-site anechoic chamber allows us to dial-in designs to perfection. Our stringent bench tests also ensure every speaker meets our strict performance standards before release.
Premium Components

Every QFX® speaker, from our smallest Bluetooth models to towering PA systems, is engineered with premium components. Here are some of the key ingredients we use:
- Custom Drivers – Our in-house engineers work directly with specialized driver manufacturers to custom-design transducers that perfectly match each enclosure. This allows us to optimize the frequency response and output capability.
- Aramid Fiber Cones – Our woofers and midrange drivers utilize stiff, lightweight aramid fiber cones for minimized distortion even at high volumes.
- Silk Dome Tweeters – Smooth, detailed highs come from our silk polymer dome tweeters. Their wide dispersion fills the room with life-like treble.
- Dual Voice Coils – Many models utilize dual voice coil woofers which allow louder, deeper bass using less power.
- Class D Amplifiers – Our integrated amplifiers use Class D technology for incredible efficiency in a compact form. More power, less heat.
- Lithium-Ion Batteries – Our Bluetooth models feature high-capacity Li-Ion batteries for all-day playtime. And they charge quickly via USB-C.
- Robust Cabinets – Computer-optimized enclosures and premium finishes deliver both aesthetic and acoustic benefits.
By thoughtfully selecting top-tier components, we achieve a level of performance far beyond what seems possible from such compact, affordable speakers. Every model exceeds expectations.
Rigorous Testing
Delivering superb audio quality requires extensive validation. From concept to completion, our engineers rigorously test each product to guarantee it meets our strict standards.
Prototypes undergo comparative listening tests in our proprietary anechoic chamber. Expert listeners compare the frequency response, distortion, projection, and other acoustic attributes against benchmarks. Models only graduate from prototyping once they surpass the required fidelity thresholds.
Environmental stress tests ensure all products withstand bumps, jostles, temperature extremes, and moisture. Our speakers play loud at freezing temps just as well as under the hot sun thanks to thermal and resilience testing.
Once in production, samples from each manufacturing run undergo final quality control including buzz, rattle, and drop checks before shipment. Instruments like laser vibrometers ensure flawless performance.
This exhaustive testing process allows us to confidently stand behind every QFX® speaker. When you invest in our audio gear, you become part of the QFX family.
Giving Back
Music has the power to inspire and connect us. That’s why giving back through music and audio education is extremely important to us.
We are proud sponsors of several initiatives including:
- Guitars in the Classroom – Providing free acoustic guitar instruction in elementary schools.
- Recording Arts Scholarships – Annual scholarships for aspiring sound engineers.
- Music Unites – Donating speakers and financial aid to music programs nationwide.
We believe everyone deserves access to the transformative power of music. Our founder’s passion for innovation began with making great audio affordable. Today we aim to bring quality music education and experiences to youth in need.
